Midwest Laundries has used laundry equipment to fit any need or budget. Customers can choose to purchase their used washers and dryers As-Is, Refurbished, or in Rebuilt condition. Warranties are offered based on the condition of the equipment. All orders are custom, and begin once a 50% deposit has been received.

As - Is

All units purchased in this condition have been removed from service in a laundromat and will not be tested or inspected by our staff. Our used washers and dryers range from 3-20 years old. Roughly 5% of our yearly volume is sold in this condition. We do not recommend buying As-Is for laundromat equipment more than 5 years old. Midwest Laundries does not make guarantees on any As-Is units.

Refurbished

The majority of units sold fall into the refurbished category. Once a deposit is received for an order, all the machines are tested and inspected. Any faulty parts are then replaced. Our mechanics then test all of the machine’s bearings and other moving parts to ensure they are in proper condition. Upon completion of testing, the machines are thoroughly cleaned and detailed. Worn decals, overlays, touch pads, lenses, etc. are replaced. Lastly, the unit is retested and given a final inspection. All refurbished washers and dryers come with a working guarantee and 30 day parts warranty. View our refurbished commercial washers and refurbished commercial dryers.

Rebuilt

Our rebuilt washers and dryers are as close to new as possible. This condition accounts for roughly 10% of our total sales, and is generally reserved for units that are more than 12 years old. The rebuild process begins with all units being disassembled. The tub and motor bearings are always replaced. If drain and water valves are not in excellent condition, they too are replaced. All decals, overlays, touch pads, lenses, and buttons are always replaced on rebuilt units. The units are then reassembled and tested. Once the machines pass a final inspection they are ready to be shipped. Rebuilt units carry a 90 day parts warranty.

Shipping

All laundry machines are placed on proper pallets. They are then enclosed in protective cardboard pads and shrink wrapped. Finally, they are securely banded to the pallet. All units are shipped via common carrier unless purchasing a complete truckload. Loads are insured to full replacement value. Midwest Laundries ships internationally.

*** All equipment is packaged to ensure a safe delivery to your facility, but on rare occasion machines may be damaged while en route. It is the customer's responsibility to inspect ALL machines prior to signing the delivery ticket. If slight damage has occurred you must note it on the BOL, and we strongly recommend you photograph the damage. If significant damage has occurred, DO NOT sign for the delivery. Photograph the damage and refuse the shipment. Call Midwest Laundries immediately for assistance in making a claim with the freight company.
